The Samanija filter purifies your cat's drinking water in 3 ways: 1) Cotton mesh filters out debris, 2) Active carbon removes odors and impurities, and 3) Ion exchange resin softens tap water. We have redesigned the mould of the filter cartridge, replaced the bulk activated carbon, and filled it with an ion exchange resin bag and two activated carbon bags inside, effectively solving the problem of activated carbon leaking in the water.

The Samanija filter is easy to use. Simply soak the filter in water for 5 minutes before use and rinse with running water to clear away excess carbon dust. We recommend replacing the filter every 2 to 4 weeks, depending on how many cats are using the fountain.
